Welcome to the Harrison Library!

Hello, Raiders! My name is Tiffani Makahilahila, and I have had the privilege of serving as the Harrison Intermediate School librarian since 2023.

I believe every student has their own unique "brand of genius," and I love helping students discover and explore their strengths, interests, and passions through our library.

Our library offers a wide variety of reading materials and resources so every student can find something that sparks their curiosity and inspires a love of reading. But the Harrison Library is much more than just books! It is a place where students can create, learn, collaborate, and grow. We offer makerspace activities, class meeting spaces when needed, and Chromebook help.

Students visit the library regularly every other week through their ELAR classes to explore new books, develop research skills, and continue building their love of learning. Students are always welcome to stop by to browse for a good book, get help, discover something new, or simply say hello.

I look forward to an amazing year of reading, creating, learning, and growing together.
